Having A Go....

Don't worry it's not something im going to jump into without propper thought and planning, but i would like to have a go at breeding some rats some time in the future, but i want to build an understanding of the do's and dont's before i attemp it. I understand that all the new rats may not have home...

i have ten clearly male rats in total but one of the boys is always humping one of the others but noone else. the one being humped is lifting his tail, im well confused as i have not seen this before. they are definately both male because the both have very large testicles, there is no aggression at...

gilesgate durham is fine its half an hour away in traffic could you please give me details of where it is.I would definately take them there if hes a good vet.

thankyou, im not familiar with this stuff and none of my other rats which i ahve kept for years have shown any symptoms like this and hae only ever been to the vets for a checkup

The vet didnt say exactly what was wrong (im not so sure he knew actually) he just said lets try antibiotics. They had to be mixed in with 250ml of water and it was gone within 3 days. If anyone in the north east knows of a good rat vet i am happy to travel to gain their advice i just want my rats s...

Our point wasn't that buying from a petshop is the best thing to do, but that if you stop people buying from petshops innocent rats that have suffered WILL be destroyed because they haven't sold and will be duely replaced anyway. I believe that the only true way to beat these farms without rats suff...
