definatly going to have a go with these, both for the rats and me lol. mmmn, banana, cinnamon, honey *dribbles* i can taste it already. although the whole banana touching squishing under-your-nail-slimy-through-your-fingers thing *could* be a problem ... :lol:

i saw this model displayed at a rat show recently, brought along by john and co, i did like it but for the trays not being deep enough and only one door opening, but aside from that i really loved it.

I had a good look at it Lisa at the MRC as well last weekend, the trays werent that deep, and why on earth get rid of the double doors is a bafflement :lol: i did however like the horiztontal bars and it did seem quite sturdy

just thought id add my two pence worth :wink: :lol:

urm, if we are talking how many rat cages we've got, I've got my explorer split in half, my cut down Jenny, my freddy and a borrowed one from a friend to accomoade all my holida animals lol, its chaos here lol

Or the cheapskate solution, buy a pack/few tins of value beans, stick in freezer, and voila. Ice pods for about 29p :lol: OK, they're not flat but you can afford to put several around the cage, so the rats can lean on them to cool down if they want, and they'll cool the surrounding air down a littl...

Oh I'm the same too, once i've heated a nail, i'm hot-nail-happy lol. Coke Bottles are fab for practice, and you get the yummy sticky sweet drink inside :lol:

I store two bags of megazorb/finacard/whatever i have got hold of in the rat room under the worktops in there. Any other big bags of bedding go in the top shed.

i'll be watching this closely as i have the swame conundrum as well, big space in the middle which is empy and void lol I have always found that my lot prefer anything that is up at the top to anything which is down in the bottom part of the explorer/similar, i suppose they know we give them nommie ...

awwww, are these the rescues from kate Ford? we went round there earlier this year and had scritches, i wish i could ahve taken more that the three i did, all those rescues were so cute xxx
