The girls loved them! but there so big they could only have one each!
The rats at college used to get giant meal worms, and they loved them. They would also get wax worms, but they're pretty fatty and only fed as a treat.

Re: Whats The Difference

The Ferret Nations have nearly no tray at all. You can't use a substrate in them as it will all end up on the floor. I've also been told that they can be prone to rusting.

Re: Does this sound like CHF?

Frost is on Baytril for 2 weeks, and if she doesn't show an improvement in 5 days she needs to go back for chest x-rays.

Does this sound like CHF?

Frost is a 22 month old doe. For the past couple of weeks she's had a fluffed up coat and a sticky eye. More recently she's started having heavy breathing with no noise, and she appears to be a little bloated. My question is, does this sound like the begining of CHF, or is it more likely to be a res...

He may well lose most of it. Or all of it. We had a boy at the animal shelter a few months back who was pure white but had black eyes so I assume he must have been a Roan at some point as the group all looked like pet shop rats. What about Patra? She is almost entirely white, except for the ...

Re: Free ranging straight out from the cage

My girls live in the shed. I open the door and put them on the floor. Once they're out they're happy to run about and only go back in the cage for a bite to eat/ run on the wheel. If I don't take them out they'll sit at the door and wait to be taken out (all apart from Willow, who escapes at any opp...
