Thanks for the reply, and do you think the my cage would be big enough for 4 males once there all fully grown?
its dimensions are 78cm x 48cm x 92cm

Hey, Ok well i've had my two boys for about 8 months now and there doing great! :) and am really pleased with them, and now i've acquired another younger male, which is around 7 weeks old. and i introduced him to my older to and they have taken to him really well, in fact alot better than i thought ...

Ok thanks for the comments, i guess i'll keep it just the two for now...... lol :) and if i happen to come across another cage maybe ill think about it again! :lol:

Thank you for the reply's, I agree it is better to try re home ratties rather than go the pet shop root, The two males i was thinking off have been in their a while know, and I'm pretty sure that most if not all the livestock he's bred himself, but i could be wrong.. But Im still thinking on it, lol

I've had my two males for a few months now, and am loving it :D and noticed a couple of males in the local pet shop who looked gorgeous, But wasen't sure if the cage i've got for my boys would be big enough for 4 ratties, and whether they'd be able to be introduced to the other two? Frisky males?

Well my boys are coming upto the 4month mark, and recently i've noticed alot of what i can only describe as humping! there's a fair bit of squeaking coming from their cage at night too, but i'm pretty sure its nothing serious as i've not noticed any wounds on either of them, it seems to be the same...

Thank you for the reply! i was hoping to keep around the £60 mark, but if needs be i can go higher, as id rather get a decent cage from the start than have to get another one later on.

A good start would be the cage, i've seen so many and they all vary in price so much! lol. Obviously i want to give the potential ratties the best i can afford. I've been comparing a few online. this one looked a fair size but, im not sure if it would be easy enough to clean, and its also got mesh f...
