painkillers for rats? ..

Hello .. i took chalk to the vets yesterday and they diagnosed ear infection.
I have been given baytril to give her once a day at 0.13 each time.
Is there anything painkiller wise i can give her, like calpol or anything as this ear
is really bugging her.

Thank you very much for your help. I took chalk to the vets who diagnosed inner ear infection just like you said :) .. they wernt keen on giving her a steroid injection as she is fine in herself but have given me 2 weeks of baytril to give her, and to go back in 2 weeks if no better. slight leaning

Hello everyone, i have a 2 year old female rat, and for last couple of days she has been leaning to the left with her head.. keeping her body straight. she is fine in herself, drinking, eating, running around lots.. today her tilt is hardly noticeable.. do i still need to take her to the vets? .. al...

Fleas..

Hello..
Just wondered a neighbour has a cat who has fleas, she comes to ours often and this morning mum has noticed there is fleas in the house on her pajamas and things.
Im wondering if cat fleas can live on my 2 rats? ..
If so how do i treat them.

Treats for my special babys x

Hello..
As i wasnt with my rats over christmas, they didnt get any extra treaty bits,
Can anyone tell me something i could make for them or buy for them to try? ..
They have had the usual eggs, pasta and fruit before but not too sure what they can have as a treat over new years?! ..

Thank you every one for your help, Cheese went to the vets yesterday to be cremated, bless her. Shes out of pain now.
Chalk is lost without her, but we got her a new friend, which is a 12 week old female, but chalk is very jumpy.. Is this normal? x

I found a vets that will cremate her individually for 59 pound
and 9 pound for a group one but i wont get her ashes back..
So confused on what to do.
I will have a look on the rehoming bit.
