trying to think of them, i sometimes buy tins, frozen or fresh. sweetcorn, peas, brocolli, carrot, cucumber, potato, swede, tomatoes, these are the most usual things they get but i do sometimes pick up bags of salad leaves, stir fry mix with peppers, curly kale.

i voted for the only one i've ever used, ratpad :) i too just usually use teatowels and chopping off the legs of my old pj's makes for a nice tunnel! but when they wash, they fray quickly. i love the bargain bucket, great value hammocks and i treated mines to some of the fleecey ones aswell..... hmm...

soap, my couch, rubbers, snotty hankies :oops:, cotton buds, curtains, savlon!! :o well more the tube i managed to get it off them before any of the insides got eaten!

i mainly free-range in my bedroom as thats where the cages are kept my cat isnt allowed in anyways so thats not a problem. sometimes i'l bring them down to the living room so i can watch t.v so the cat gets shut out, most of the time he just goes and lies somewhere else, sometimes he moans for 5 min...

thats a good idea if your water bottle was to become dirty! i may try keeping some for the ratties dr squiggles days!

you should give fresh water daily as water becomes stagnant and yuk. you wouldnt drink a glass of water that had sat out since the day before :wink:

could it be a urinary infection? i would pop him in a carrier on his own with some white tissue until he pee's and if its red it could be that. a trip to the vets tomorrow for some anti-biotics should clear it up if thats the case.

my jenny was nice and shiny when the guy dropped it off, even if it did smell a bit ferret-y! i also recently bought a 2nd hand furet xl on ebay, it was clean when it arrived although the seller didnt tell me it had odd spots of rust on the bars, which i would have liked to have been told about befo...
