Re: At my wits end
This is the one I got http://www.amazon.co.uk/Bitter-Spray/dp/B001A2X4H8, I'm sure you can buy it from other places though. Good luck putting Maisy off nibbling!

Re: At my wits end
We bought a bitter apple spray from amazon to stop Hera chewing the back of the sofa and we sprayed/painted all our wires with it too. So far so good but I'm never sure whether the bitter apple put her off or she just got bored :-? We have covered the Playstation cable (one of their favourite wires ...

Re: Classroom pets?
When I was in Year 7 (so 11 years old) we had a classroom hamster and 2 rats. It wasn't a particularly nice school but there were never any problems as far as I can remember, no one poked anything inappropriate through the bars or set fire to the hamster. Mostly, the kids who weren't interested in a...

One of my girls, Roxy, has one black eye and one ruby eye, very beautiful. I'm glad your ratty's eye is just pretty rather than hurt!

Oh if you do this, make tiny rats out of blue-tac!acapae_wolf wrote:Or if not that then doing a scaled plan drawing with furniture cut-outs and seeing how it would theoretically look is a good idea too

Re: Possibly re-arranging for a new cage?
Having the cage next to the radiator wouldn't be a good idea, your ratties might get too hot and if the radiators go off and on at different times of the day there would be quite an extreme temperature change being so close to the radiator. Trying to picture how a room looks with the furniture in di...

Re: Plastic Corner Shelves - Design Flaws & Suggestions
Completely agree with regard to the surface of the shelves, completely smooth or Jemma's fantastic idea of little bumps for added grip. Glittery would be amazing :D have just bought two pink ferplast shelves from you today - wish I'd come on here first and seen that you were making these, I would ha...

Please help - back a stage for intros? :(
I recently adopted two neutered boys (15 months) to intro to my girls (12 months). I popped them all in the bath and I felt things went quite well, my alpha female, Athena, went very poofy but calmed down after a bit. Then they went into a carrier for 24 hours. Athena sulked and sat by herself but t...

Re: The Savic Royal Suite Club! aka *The Savic Royal Family*
Eeee! I have just ordered an SRS! I was going to get an explorer but managed to find a new SRS for £211 (Amazon are doing them for £226 and I had a voucher) which is close enough to the Explorer price that it seemed worth doing. Why did the Explorer shoot up in price?! Anyway, I am super chuffed tha...

Re: Where do YOU freerange?
My girls get free run of the living room/dining room. Persephone likes to chew carpet but we now have a wooden floor and I am yet to discover anything they have chewed *frantically touches wood*.
