I'm working on the landlady. She's really nice so I'm hoping she will agree but do you think fostering another boy would be a good option for him or do you think he is happy on his own? Sorry if that sounds like a dumb question but I just want to do the right thing for him

I've booked him in to see the vet for his opinion. Eddie does sneeze and a little bit chunky but otherwise he's really healthy. I worry about putting him in with other rats because it took him a year to re-introduce Percy back with him.. I worry hes lonely but he doesn't make me think he is because ...

Just to add, his brother died two weeks ago so he is alone. I can't get a friend because my landlady wont allow me to get anymore.. This is why i feel stuck because i love him so much and want whats right for him which is why i'm asking here. Please don't think i'm being cruel keeping him alone.. I ...

Do you think thats too old to neuter? I want to get Eddie neutered so i can put him in with my girls but i'm so scared if something happened to him i would never forgive myself.. What should i do??? :(

Oh right, i don't think i have ever seen my rats eat poo. I got really worried if it was safe to eat :sickrat:
I give them nice ratty food and he eats that.. Nice one Eddie :roll:

Is this normal?

I just found Eddie eating poo where i think Percy used to use as his toilet.. I heard him crunching but had no idea what it was until i saw the group of poo and he picked it up and ate it :sickrat:

when i first introd molly and tiff, molly used to slowly go up to tiff and pull at her fur and run away. or if she was on a shelve or tube she used to lean down to pull tiffs fur.

but i don't actually know why the reason was so i hope someone soon can reply :luck:

thank you everyone for the kind words, i'm cooking him chicken and a bit of hash brown because last time he really enjoyed that. I know its not good for him but i don't know. I cant really think :cry:

I cant believe I'm going to be saying bye to him :cry:

Hes the third one this year, the second rat that will be pts. I'm absolutely heart broken.. I can't wait to move to York, i feel like i will have more support there once i meet other rat lovers at the show :cry:

he seems bothered by that lump, hes always washing and scratching his face. his breathing is loud and almost sounds like he is struggling :cry: he still eats i don't know, i'm starting to feel i'm keeping him for me but this video i will link. does his breathing look heavier than normal? :cry: i fee...

Update- I really need help

I have just come home from work to find that Percy's lump looks a lot bigger. I don't understand how just over one night/ day it could grow so much :cry:

Its not going to get any small or is he going to get any bigger. I have decided next Tuesday i'm going to let him sleep :cry:

thanks, i know he hasn't given up yet. every morning when i wake up hes always right by my face sleeping and when i stroke him he does the biggest stretch and gives me licks. he looks happy or at least content to me, he woke me up in the night wanting more food. i do accept he doesn't have long left...
