Re: Playing games with rats

Hiya, my rats love pea fishing. You get a container, fill the bottom of the container with frozen peas ( you don't have to cook them) then fill the container as close to the top as you can with boiling water, wait for the water to cool down then let the rats go pea fishing. I use a small/medium dog ...

Re: mucky ears

thank you for reading this, and your responses. I did mean to say that i would only use the cotton buds on the outer parts. They do not have mites, i had to treat them for mites when i got them, and they have the all clear. There wasn't any smell either (i know about that with all animals). But it d...

I don't think there's an infection, just seems to be a lot of wax and it doesn't seem to be bothering him. Or does anybody ha...

Re: open sore

Thank you for ur advice and opinion. There is a pet shop very near me that does claw clipping, think i'll pop him in there tomorrow. They are very experienced with rats. I've only had them for a couple of weeks, it's a shame they came to me in such a state, but we are bounding, Rocket the albino is ...

I have treated them with Beaphar spot on (contains ivermectin) his skin was a bit sore, but it was recommended to go ahead, i wish i didn't now. I am thinking of putting him in the bath, he doesn't like it, but just to get the spot on off. He just looks so uncomfortable. He is drinking and eating. I...

P.S. He does have very long claws. They have come from very poor conditions. By the way he is a brown hoodie and is called Cracker. The other one is a Albino and his name is Rocket. Rocket is doing really well, he had one sore in the centre of his back, it has now scabbed over and is healing well (f...
