aww, a new discovery about my Zazie! cool, she has an invisible hat... :lol: with her temper, she would ONLY wear a hat if it's invisible anyway! :D

this is a good thread! :D my pair of girl get about 50% of fresh veggies everyday. the other half is grains and a bit of pellets called "Rat Complete". i regularly feed them what i have handy in the house, which are carrots, broccoli, various coloured peppers, tomatos, lettuce, potatoes, cabbage, gr...

actually, i don't know what hat ears are supposed to look like? :-? are Zazie's? her ears are always positioned like this, as opposes to my Siamese Zima's ears are facing the front and upright.

unfortunately over here in Germany it's been the lousiest summer after last year's no summer. :angry: i heard our city is the coldest of all Europe!!!

what's in Dr. Squiggles?

so, i'm in Germany and we don't have Dr. Squiggles here. i do mix in this rat pellet food called Rat Complete that covers the vitamins & minerals etc, but it's only 10% or less of what makes up their diet... so, i'm thinking maybe it's not a bad idea to incorporate supplements... what are the key in...

Jemma, i felt a bit too mean to do that... :lol: but i thought if i just top up (but keep the total amount the same) they'll have less and less to eat, and give in in the end! oh how wrong i was... but bruised is a good idea. i can just crush them a bit in mortar & pestle and give them... yes they D...

oats in husks...

i'm PEELING them, one-by-one, right now, because my rats just don't eat them! :angry: the eat everything else except for these. they eat rice in husks, but not oats. i always added the leftover from the day before to the day's mix for them to finish, but in the end it's just becoming half of the mix...

i was eating puffed rice waffles (i don't know what to call these), while my girls were sleeping in their digging box last night... next thing i knew, it was off my hands and 2 rats were carrying the giant disc of waffle away... i tried to hold onto it but it was all in vain... :roll:
