I had a girl who was bleeding from her vagina and it turned out to be a very bad UTI. Good luck at the vets!

well, my boyfriend's boys find comfort in my boobies. It's not technically freerange as they're not exercising & exploring but it will help the bonding process

Thanks for your advice :) I have some baytril and metacam at home. Would it be advisable to give them both to her? If so, how much? Really sorry I've only just seen this :( I would have said that you could give her both if you knew the doses (for her weight). How is Zita doing? I really hope she's ...

i A treat ball on the floor usually keeps them occupied once they've figured it out. The carrot patch rabbit toys are also good - hide treats under the carrots. my girls have never managed to figure a treat ball out (now it's just a chew toy)... I look at one of them and start to question the whole ...

how long should I leave Zita in a seperate cage for after her tumour removal? The vet said a week which seems a bit long to me :-?

post-surgery care

My 16 month old girlie is going in for tumour removal at the end of the week, I've never had a rat go through surgery before... just looking for some advice regarding caring for her after surgery (any particular foods etc)

Altheday had a horrible UTI but two courses of Baytril cleared it right up. Can't offer any advice, just wanted to share my experience
