im 100% its a abcess too lol

once it pops you need to be cleaning and flushing it 2/3 times a day to keep the head off and it will drain away usually it only takes 4/5 days to a week to heal if it stops filling up and stays open

warm compressing usually works better to draw out puss. iv had many a boy with abcesses :-| iv had one boy i took to the vet that was so big it popped on my lap in the waiting room leaving me with a lovely new scent :sickrat: generally if its ready to pop i warm compress it 4 times a day with a litt...

ahh i didnt see that i dont know what i was looking at :lol: theres dosages on the link for it. you shouldnt have to bathe him unless hes particularly stinky, they are generally good at keeping clean, but if you want to bathe him once the mites is cleared up in a few weeks you can use a small animal...

invectamin is the proper name for mite treatment although not sure if thats available in canada, iv never heard of the products you mention because this is mainly a British forum. really a taller cage would be better for him rather than a rabbit cage but short term its fine. you dont NEED to neuter ...

my cats from a farm and is scared of the rats aswell hes been nipped through the bars too many times as a kitten! now he doesnt bother when hes in their room he just nosies around looking for something to eat. hes terrified of my beardies aswell :lol: my runty beardied dragon chased him out the anim...

i never heard that before iv always done it :s i know a few other people that have aswell. but its 2 drops to a full bucket of water and everything is very well dried off so its not like they are licking drinking it?

eta it says on RW you can put it in cleaning water

when i lived at home i had a mint plant on my window ledge and the rats used to try to rip it to shreds so it was obviously well liked (i killed it when i was drunk and watered it with ribeana ...mint doesnt go with ribeana lol) i think it sounds like a good idea but maybe you could have 3/4 of thes...

i find it helps better when you use it in soapy water leaves the cage smelling REALLY clean if that makes sense (sometimes when you do it without the tapadrop you can still smell them a bit albeit not nearly as much. sometimes you can over clean aswell if you are spot cleaning the cage too much the ...

tapadrops fab i put a few drops in a bucket of water when i clean my cages out it helps kill any odours and i put a couple of drops on a tissue in the room when i start to notice a smell. are they litter trained? getting them to wee and poo in a tray with 100% paper litter can help as you can poop s...
