nope, not at all. But i think you should get hold of iether Julia Oliver or Estelle Sandford as i know they would have an idear . They are both on this forum. Estelle has a very good web site.

try and go to a local rat show. Someone there will show you how to do it. Or find someone who keeps Budgies, sounds daft, but its the same principle.

then please find her a mate . I agree with you about his time left, and i understand where you are coming from. Every fibre in my body is aching to say he needs a mate, but realistically by the time you find two suitable baby boys, then the time spent intruducing them, and the stress it will put him...

the diet has changed so that would possibly cause the dandruff, but also he does not have any one to groom him any more, which if you have ever been unable to bath would make him pretty misrable, on top of the grievng he is going through. up date. Daisy is on the lump mix. Clover has perked up. Billie Bob's urine infection has cleared up and Joey is looking brighter, which is more then i can say for my bank account.

i'd say in all probability the one on his foot is a bite wound too, and as its close to the bone it'll be more sensitive then the others,poor mite . The abscess looked identical to one my bitch dog had on her back, same treattment, i got the core out by sort of 'rolling' it out, i plucked a bit off ...

i know you live in the US, :roll: not sure how much Bumble foot you get in your rats, here in the UK its pretty rare.
Is'nt there US equivalent of the RSPCA ( Royal Sociaty for the Prevention of Cruilty to Animals ) we have ? should be a web site maybe they can help ?
