Looks like what I've been told is rusting. Here's what my Sweep looked like, the patch is much less obvious now, I'm sure it still changes slowly as she's ageing. http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c271/Levi623/764.jpg http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c271/Levi623/761.jpg Mod note...... first pic ch...

Then after a suggestion from someone else, I cut her nails (just removing the sharp tip with nail-clippers). The nails weren't particularly sharp and I didn't see her scratching more, but two days late...

Cloudy baytil isn't effective so I've been told. And I've also been told that contamination of the baytril makes it go cloudy quickly - so washed syringes with teeny bits of water or bits of food/med hiding stuff on the end of a syringe being reused is to be avoided. Keeping it in the fridge seems t...

Horrible unstable 'Critter3'. I used the MDF board to add stability before I was told how to use the long and short wire-rods to hold it all together better! :

In the mean time, cut her nails  I'll second this in a big way  I have been trying to sort my Sweep out for what seems like forever. I thought it was from fighting, but after keeping her away from her scrapping partner, they were still there. After treating for mites they were still ...

Toothpaste is the best thing in the world for removing ink. As long as you thoroughly rinse it of the ratties afterwards, so it doesn't dry their skin out, I think they wouldn't mind too much.

It really does get ink off anything, wet or dry, although I bet it's never been tested on ratties
