I would say no because if a child got bitten it would be all over the newspapers and would do much damage to the hard work already been done to help improve the public perception of rats. Also what is in it for the rats? For me their welfare comes first. And not taking them home at night, every nigh...

When a mix has wholemeal rice in it, does that mean uncooked raw wholemeal rice?

Oh my yes! They will nom it all up and then do the "gimme more" sad face. Tesco have them on special at the moment - whole ones for £2.49.
