Re: Semen Plug

If he will tolerate it, soak his back end in a bowl/sink of warm water to help soften it up.

That is what I've done on occasion with my older men.

Re: Is the happy house rat cage any good?

I've had mine for about 3 years now and love it. It's easy to clean and it's still pretty much like new (except the bottom tray has been chewed which is really shallow and flimsy anyway - it just means more floor sweeping lol). I've added some ferplast shelves as the two that comes with it were not ...

Re: FR's atmosphere currently.

As another long standing member, I have seen different mod teams come and go each with varied success. I believe at present the mod team number is very low with just a few core members for whatever reasons. Maybe it's time for some new blood in the mod team? Now I'm not saying the current mods are r...

Re: When can my young rats go into petshop?

I'm confused as to where you think I bought my rats from? It was a breeder recommended by many forum users Therefore I do have a knowledge of the lines history and genetics Apologies if you've answered this before (I did try and concentrate honest!) but is the breeder a 'feeder' breeder or a 'pet' ...

Re: More fancy rats in the park :(

I went round to Ellie's today to visit Hope and her babies! I got to hold the girls that I'm going to have, little champers girlie and one of the mink berkies. :D Although one of the other mink berkies came for a snuggle and now Ellie is trying to convince me to have three instead of two ("O...

Re: does anyone sane approve of this cage for a rat?

i want to have Toby outside! she enjoys it as much as Cain does. Excuse me for my ignorance of world climate but did you not say you're from Canada? I can imagine it get's pretty cold there so maybe it's not the best idea to be taking her out? I know Patsy still gets chilly here in the U.K in 'summ...

Re: does anyone sane approve of this cage for a rat?

The second cage looks rather like a superpet to me, and if so may not be the best idea for Toby as the bar spacing is fairly wide. Young girls can easily squeeze through them. Ahh emma, I saw it in another video now. It is one of the smaller superpet types with narrow bar spacing. Oh o.k, i just re...

Re: Hairless Pictuers? PLZ!!! I'm A super fan!

That's HKM I'm just a Patsy (Fatsy Patsy) She cropped up unexpectedly in a litter so came to live with me with her furry sister :hearts:

I never liked hairless before and she's the first I've had but she's such a character and imo very cute for a nakie.
