Re: Not Recovering Well After Op

think i'm going to pop the girls in the run with him while i clean out the explorer tonight to see if that perks him up, if so, then i'll put them all in the explorer and see how it goes, although i'll have to seperate him off to give yummy foods. if they just annoy him then i think i will split the...

Not Recovering Well After Op

Frankie had to have a lypoma (fatty lump) removed last friday and although surgery went well, the post-op wound was much bigger than anticipated and therefore on the advice of my vet, i separated him from his cage mates. his recovery was going well, he was eating, drinking, mobile although slow and ...

Re: Sarah's Rat Accessories

i've just received my order from sarah. i wanted a new hammock like the one i'd previously had from p@h but didn't really want to give p@h my money if someone else could make a similar item, so i sent sarah a picture of the one i had previously and she said she'd give it a go. a few days later my ha...

swine flu / flu / colds

dunno if this is a silly question but can my rats catch any of the above from me? spent all day sneezing and sniffing and now got a scratchy throat and know at least 2 people who have had flu / swine flu recently and am worried that if i come down with something (even if its just a cold) my ratties ...

Re: JR Farm Rat Feast Light

let me know if you get some and how you get on with it as one of my boys is a real porker!!

is it actually sold as a "complete" food rather than something specifically designed to be added to a mix do you know?

Baytril

Re: Adapting Explorer for Oldies with HLD

i'm having this problem at the moment as one of my boys has developed HLD and its got to the stage now where he's really struggling to get about the explorer. i've tried different ladders, extra shelves, ledges etc and that worked for a while but have given in and put my boys in our run now. its bas...
