Yes, I'll second that. I've recently brought 2 rescue babies home, who are definitely setting a sterling example to my older (breeder) girls.

Bratz Ratz

Noticed that there are 2 rats on my girls family tree with this prefix. A search on this forum doesn't come up with anything - does anyone know "who" they are?

Re: Rehoming

Try again!! I was very frustrated by people not replying when I was looking for my first rats so I know how you feel. But there's some great rats on the Rehoming Forum at the moment so don't give up on the ones further afield!

Re: Lucy Needs a buddie...or 2 or 3 :)

Also, I'm collecting some rats from Plymouth/Somerset next week - so could "rat train" a couple of the 5 month old girls as far as Gloucester if that's any good. (Look under Rescue - South West on here)

Re: Lucy Needs a buddie...or 2 or 3 :)

Hi. Noticed there's a couple of older girsl on the Milo Stud website under "rescue" - although they're actually from there. Was very tempted myself, but managed to keep myself under control!

Re: Moving Rats Internationally to the UK??

We brought our cat Melda back to England with us from Australia and she was allowed straight into the UK without quarantine BUT she had to have a rabies vaccine in Oz 6 months before she left there. If she hadn't had it she would have had to go into a quarantine cattery here for 6 months. As far as ...

Re: Any breeders in Brighton?

I've recently become a first time rat owner, and I bought my 2 kittens from a breeder. I considered rescues but decided that as a first timer I wanted them to have had a good amount of socialisation, and also to be from a "known" genetic background (eg not interbreeding). I just wanted to say that I...
