Re: Such a dainty girl

Vita takes the treat in her teeth very gently then holds my finger with her hands and uses my finger to push the treat into her mouth....sometimes she forgets to do it and rather than drop the treat or use her own fingers she turns round and has to push the treat in on my finger lol adorable :hearts:

Re: nutrical

the nutrical i used to buy used to advertise as having an appetite stimulant in it, which is why i always chose it over any other supplement for sick/underweight pets...but it doesnt say that on the label anymore as far as i can tell....i dont know if they've changed the formula or weather its a dif...

Re: critter nation 161

Fair enough :D any of the Critter/furret/explorer will be perfect for your needs then, the access is unparralleled, and they are easy to clean without taking them apart.however it can still be hard to arrange things as you have to sacrifice the front as they are the doors. i have an explorer (at tim...

Re: critter nation 161

hiya, the critter nation is exactly the same as a ferret nation i think, except with smaller spacing on the bars. as yet i dont think they are retailing the critter nation as single stories but they do retail the ferret nation as a single story. the single story ferret nation measures 36Lx25Dx38.1/2...

Re: behaviour/temprement in relation to coat/variety..discussion

. All of the troublemakers/aggressive ones I have had, have all been one colour, predominately darker ones ie: berkies. another excellent point Elisa....the afore mentioned study in my first post, noted the Berkshire marking among the agouti rats to be among the most aggressive....they made a link ...

Re: behaviour/temprement in relation to coat/variety..discussion

wow i'm so glad this got some responses, and a little variation in opinion too makes for an interesting discussion :D It is far more line-dependant, and affected by the individual rat's temperament, than variety. Definately this. normally i would agree with the above. Nurture over Nature so to speak...

Re: behaviour/temprement in relation to coat/variety..discussion

i just wanted to add i think this may be suited to the rat chit chat or breeding and varieties section....i leave it to the powers that be to decide weather to move it. ps does any one oppose the idea of the link and believe that a rat Is a rat Is a rat regardless of colour. *nature verses nurture* ...
