Re: Breeding for yourself

If you wanted to keep a whole litter the only ethical was i can think of doing it is taking in a litter of rescue babies and keeping them all. I don't agree with breeding for the sake of breeding. I often have people 'loan' me stud bucks from my lines and then have kittens back from the litters, whi...

Re: Recommended Breeders in the East.

You can always look for a breeder further afield if you are able to get to a mutually convenient show to exchange kittens, or if you can travel :)

Re: Can i see some Beautiful Burmese ?? PWWWWEEAASEEE

My last intentional burmese litter was december 2008, and that was to pass on the line to another breeder, prior to that my last burmese litter was February 2008.

I very much agree with this, having personally got rats w...

Re: Can i see some Beautiful Burmese ?? PWWWWEEAASEEE

I thought Jenna did too, but it seems not on her website. Still, she does siamese, and you can just roll them in coffee powder to get the same effect  I gave up breeding burmese as they had a lot of health issues. I do still get the odd one pop out unintentionally, but it's unlikely i'll get a...

Re: The Siamese Myth-Is it true?

afaik the siamese rats that were aggressive inititally were down to poor breeding, getting into the wrong hands and breeders wanting to make as many as possible with no thought towards temperament. In 6 years of breeding Siamese and about 200 siamese rats, 4 of them have been neutered.. and generall...
