Re: URGENT LINK TO RAT SWING PLEASE

I can't even imagine how it must feel not to have a vets you trust to get to - and I know how good Woodlands are :( I'd suggest that if you're willing to travel to a known good one recommened by someone on here - even 1/2 hours away its worth starting there with Iris as this could be quite complicat...

Re: URGENT LINK TO RAT SWING PLEASE

I dunno if this is the right or wrong thing to do but when it happened to fortune I cleaned all the gunk out her mouth to try and make room for as much air as possible and I kept her with me by my side. She did sound horrificly respy and slept for a solid 8 hours on my bed after it happened. I've no...

In most cases the blockage does not stop the rat from breathing and the best thing you can do is stay calm to try to help the rat to remove the blockage. Normally the blockage ...

Re: SDAV

I don't want to read and run but I'm not the best at sdav advice. Stormsmuggler had it back in March and the thread is here ... I had contact with her prior to her first loss and I blanket treated all mine with baytril and anyone sounding dodgy with doxy and baytril, but I had no losses nor swollen ...

Re: More fancy rats in the park :(

I hope everyones parkies are doing well?

If we assume that Chelsea got pregnant 24 hours after giving birth to the mini muffins and counting their pregnancy period as 23 days it makes the park rats 1st birthday tomorrow! Scary eh?!

Re: Lost rattie found me...

The tail damage he was found with suggests that he has been out for some time, which is a concern. When Chelsea was caught in the park, she was in amazing condition, shiny coat, bright eyes, no damage, yet she had been living in a burrow in the ground for at least 2 months and raised at least 2 bac...
