Naturals Rats Dream

Anyone else heard of this? Naturals does a lot of food/treat stuff. I ordered some spot on for my medicine box and whilst in a buying mood got a 175g packet of rats dream just to try it out. It's ver colourful and the first thing I noticed was that it's full of sunflower seeds :-? Ingredients are: g...

Re: How Do I Fatten Up Matilda?

oh my god :o that picture is brilliant  Thank you for you advice, I think I am just worrying over nothing. Again. Sorry! She does feel good if you get me? Thin and long and dainty like you describe, she's a very beautiful little rat. I might be overfeeding too, not like anough to make them all ...

Re: How Do I Fatten Up Matilda?

Yeah having my first boy has really put her tiny size into perspective :o  I think the reason I worry is beacuse she definitley doesn't eat as much as I would expect her to :-? she sedems to get distracted/bored of food or whatever she's eating quite quickly. She enjoys taking stuff and stashin...

Re: How Do I Fatten Up Matilda?

She is very skinny especially when stood next to Jupiter! But not like skeletally if you know what I mean? Like I said she is actually quite robust. Despite her tiny size her tail hasn't got that square look of an undernoureshed rat.

How Do I Fatten Up Matilda?

Well here goes, Matilda actually ways 145 grams. Seriously! :( Bit of back ground on her: she's a P@H rat and I got her in November 2009 and I estimated her to be 6 weeks old or so (really like the fact a lot of breeders give you an actual birth certificate) so I estimate her to be about 16 months o...

Re: Victoria Sponge Cake?

I'd be cautious when feeding cake or bread like food as I've had two rats go mental and choke through trying to eat it to fast. Messy but not fatal and more distressing for me than them I think :-?

Re: Sadness :(

Im pretty sure that baytril should be at least a 14 day course. Also, if hes as bad as you say, he may be better with a combination of drugs, such as the baytril with doxycycline which can work really well for respiratory issues. Yes, I think it's 14-31 days Argh! Why is this? I've had several cour...

Re: Lumps after castration. Opinions?

I took Jupiter to the vet yesterday to have a small post op abscess drained and it's been three weeks today since he had the snip. Oh advice is to check Semper over immediately after if your vet does anything - mine drained the abscess for me and I pretty much left him alone yesterday and on inspect...

Re: Rat being sick...?!!!

Interesting questoin as physically rats carn't be sick but they can regurgitate apparently. I have no idea what the technical difference is supposed to be but I have been sick on by three rats up to date (thanks guys) with very violent retching which I think was more distressing for me than them app...

Re: Cleaning Rat Tails

I bought a toothbrush to try and clean my girls tails with last year... Abigail went NUTS :o and tried to kill the toothbrush. I now have it as a toy for her to chase, their tails never did get washed.

Re: TV Program CH4 - FAT Rats

Matilda seems smaller to me than ever with her less than 200g! My tiny little runt  I've tried everything, even coconut milk won't make her fat!

Re: Advice fairly urgently please? :(

Thank you for replying (: I was a bit freaked out but I've chilled out a lot more now. I guess I over-reacted since neither of them were physically hurt, I just assumed it must be really bad since they were pulling fur out. This is only the first day trying to intro them! I think I might leave it co...
