calcium supplements

I've been wondering about using calcium supplements other than Calcivet since its quite unpalatable. I've came across these calcium tablets from holland and barratt but I have no idea how much to give them or how often. I was going to crush them and dissolve them in wet food such as baby food. The t...

Re: The oldies' new bachelor pad!

just this week I've been looking into a C&C playpen for my bunnies that are yet to arrive. Your pen looks great :D. Where did you get the squares from, how many panels did you get and for how much? I'm finding it really difficult to get hold of them and the ones I've found are very expensive.

Re: Correx level?

It's generally quite sturdy but can bend along the flutes if there's a lot of weight on an area so maybe have two pieces, one on top of the other and cable tied together for added sturdiness :)

Re: Suitable large rat carriers

For a whole day I'd day a cage that flatpacks like a furet plus or a furet xl if you have the room would be good. For a carrier for vet visits try the cabrio cat carrier, lots of room and no gaps to escape through :) http://www.petplanet.co.uk/product.asp? ... f_id=52107

Re: Correx level?

It depends on how active your ratties are, mine would just use it as a spring board, or chew threw it :/ should be fine for babies as long as they're not chewers :)

Re: Help: Taking middle out of explorer

My boyfriend did it for me but I remember it being in bits so I'd image it would be hard to do alone. He managed fine but i have no clue. If you put it up yourself you might manage ok :)

ingested chewing gum. Help!

The short version is Athena may have ingested chewing gum, I can't get a vet appointment as it's Sunday and I have no idea what to do. The long version is last nite I put the rats to bed and went to stay over at the boyfriends. I came home this morning to find my room trashed. I ran to check on the ...

Child safe plastikote

The other day I was in wilkinsons looking for plastikote, they had a whole wall full of them but as far as I could tell none of them said child safe. am I just missing something? I thought the 'matt' colours were child safe but apparently not. Where bouts on the cans (spray cans) is the child safe l...
