Re: Small poo?

I think poos come in all shapes and sizes. I find ones tiny and then huge ones. I can't believe they have come from such a small creature. :o

I use a roll of lino. Really easy to wipe clean and store away rolled up. I got an off cut free from my local :) shop.

Re: poor percy..

I like making cous cous with hot coconut milk and scrambled egg mixed in. This is the only thing all my rats poorly/well will eat. I find it very good for putting weight on. Lots of love to Percy :hearts:

Re: My rats are abit boring and lazy.

That is so true Betterstar 'Active but not agile' I have to keep a constant eye on my boys. They are always climbing up high when out and either getting stuck or falling. Dexter fell off a shelf the other day and landed head first into his bowl. He looked at me as if to say 'I was meant to do ...

Re: How long after a neuter

I have just put a new boy in with my mixed group after 3 weeks. So far so good. I was worried about how my other boy was going to react but he hasn't been too bad. He sulked for a while but has now los interest. Something that did surprise me was my top girl duffed him up :rollred:

Abscess gone?

I have been watching Marley's abscess for days waiting for it to scab so I can pop it. This morning its gone :( I was really looking forward to it  The scab is in tact so what has happend to it? I am worried it has popped inside him. He is bouncy, eating and drinking. Re: Enrichment

Corks! The only non food thing my lot love. You could hang them up or just give them one each. I got a bag from tesco in the wine making section (99p). Warning: Make sure you have enough to go round. My mum gave me one and I chucked it in. It was a catastrophe. Cork and fur everywhere :o

Found a new food for getting meds down

After going through everything edible in the house I tried this: Soak a bite sized shredded wheat (fruit filled) in rice milk. When its mushy carefully open it up and squirt the meds in ontop of the jam bit. They loved it! :D
