Re: The big taste test..

Reading this thread is like watching a train wreck happening; I'm horrified, yet helpless, simply standing and watching. So this is what you British folk do for fun? In Australia, we go to the cinema.

Playing games with rats

Anyone got any games they play with their ratties? I want to make free-range a bit more interesting :) One of my girls enjoys chasing and wrestling with my hand, but the others just look at me like a I'm a fool when I try it with them

Yet ironically, you warn me in bright red? Makes me laugh.
I find it more ironic that you break a rule, complain about it, and break another rule in the process.

Re: Intro help....

When I did my one and only intro so far, I was told that the rule was "no blood, no foul", so as long as they aren't drawing blood then they should be left to sort it out themselves. Very hard to do if they're arguing, but I can see the logic in it. I have one girl who still humps everyone else, aft...

Re: Reporting users?

Yeah it wouldn't matter if they didn't post, I assume, I just thought in case :) I dont really know about bots etc, so I assume they can't give viruses just by being members? (I'm so bad with technology, I wouldn't know lol)

Reporting users?

Sorry if I've missed this somewhere, but is it possible to report users? The other day I glanced at the 'newest member' and thought the username sounded like one of the spam bots we had a while ago, so I clicked it and sure enough the interests were just inappropriate things I won't mention, and the...

Is this safe?

I'm having trouble with the girls slipping out through the bars of the cage at the moment and I've found a coated wire mesh; on the price tag it says "PVC coated" and on the label it says "P.E coated" which I googled and is "polyethylene" coated. Does anyone know if this will be safe for the girls? ...

Tip for feeding garlic

I wanted my girls to get some garlic in their diet but they wouldn't eat it, so I messed around a bit and came up with this: mashed potato with a little bit of crushed garlic mixed into it. Really simple! It was what I was cooking for us humans, and wondered if the rats would try it and they loved i...

Re: What type of yoggy?

Yoggy is just what we call "yogurt drops" as a shortened word, here is an example of some: http://www.ratwarehouse.com/shop_detail.php?item=399&cat=24 They're basically just yogurt compound in little circle shapes. Rats definitely love them, the way humans love chocolate, but as Jemma said they aren...
