Re: The Harness

From what I've heard/tried it's near on impossible...and to be honest not really worth it. The rats get distressed while you try get it on, and when you do they generally try everything they can to get it off...and usually succeed

Re: Foster babies - what possible varieties?

Thank you...again :D Yummy scrummy babies. I think we're going to keep one of the boys (to even numbers out, obviously...) Now we just have to decide which one...

Re: Foster babies - what possible varieties?

Thank you :)

So I was right with the first guess then  It's so confusing. And mum is a russian blue point siamese, yes? Just so I know what to put on her rehoming thread. And just 'siamese' for the babies?

Sorry for all the questions, I'm useless when it gets beyond basic varieties.

Re: Foster babies - what possible varieties?

Riiight, I get you now. Is mum a himmy then, or a pale siamese? I'm so rubbish with varieties it's untrue

Re: Foster babies - what possible varieties?

Wow that was quick! Thank you!

So are the darker ones burmese? Some are marked, I think there's a mismarked hoodie and a berkie. Are the palest himmys then? What about the medium ones?

Exciting times!!

Re: Foster babies - what possible varieties?

Ok we officially have fur so I'm uploading pics as we speak :D

Also realised that mum is in no way shame or form a blue point siamese...don't know where I got that from lol. She looks himmy, very white and bright pink eyes! Don't know why I thought BPS

Re: Foster babies - what possible varieties?

Thanks for the info. I'd be very surprised if the other rat wasn't the dad - just because I don't understand why they would just dump one male with he. If they had more than one male surely they would either dump them both or just keep the male and dump the mum? Hmmm. They were also a similar age (o...
