 I meant fish one out of the hole, lol. I reckon they look of an age with my two young guys. But as Doug says, by rescuing one you may well have rescued a whole handful there, so even though we're all willing you more luck and success, as with Nicky's starfish story, you've made a difference to that one (and possibly her bubs) and that's more than wonderful if the others are still being stubborn. *also passes warm drinks out*

This was lovely to come back and read! :) Although me and Raz sat over tea and smiled muchly at this thread.

It was a long one.. took 4 hours until we caught our wee black dumbo who is now called Patience! We saw most activity at one hole.. black hoodys, mink and a dark mink - the mink would come out so far.. if s/he would have come out 1 inch more s/he would have been catachable  Patience was at another hole where we didn't see much activity. And its odd as i've only personally seen mostly minks up close so would have assumed we would have caught one of those first!

Nicky - thank you so much for your trap... yoyo'ing traps between holes isnt too helpful!

Raz - You are doing absolutely brilliantly... if it wasn't for you who knows what would have happened to Chelsea and any of these park rats. You are putting so much time and effort into this its amazing, and its beginning to show its benefits.

Now we can tell the council we HAVE caught one so our methods ARE working, so they have no reason not to let us carry on.

Hopefully things are looking up and we can get some more
