I think all mine are a little partial to rock music as they go and sit next to the speakers when i am sitting playing my tunes!

Considering mine listen to the radio 24/7 and look rather shocked when i turn it off then yes, they enjoy music  They have no choice in music though, they get Kerrang radio whether they want Classical FM or not, unless i'm in a particularly 'let's listen to Tchaikovsky' mood.

I don't know if they care either way about the music from my speakers, but my ratties seem to enjoy when I play the guitar. They also enjoy playing WITH the guitar.. but that's another matter. They aren't too keen when I play violin though. Then again, nobody is.. I'm horrid! *L*

Mine prefer nice calm, quiet music. Anything lively and they know that at any second they are likely to be bounced around the room by an over-enthusiastic human ;)
Some tunes they automatically dive into the farthest corners for now.
And they hate too much bass.

Maybe I should stop trying to teach them to dance?!!

Dumbledore bruxes a lot more when he hears Classical music, like Beethoven, etc. I'd say he likes it. :)
Happy New Year from Andrea &
