No ratties yet but will be getting two bucks. I know they are not all like it, but I think big squishy bucks rather than dainty active does will suit me better. I want ratties to cuddle up with on the sofa!

bucks because they're hyper when they're younger and squishy when they're older so you get the best of both worlds.

I said all does, as all my ratties are does, but I cheat and have foster boys staying with me.

Some of my does are so laid back and big although I do have one who is like a piece of popcorn.lol

The boys I have here are middle of the road, but do like their cuddles.

Just bucks :D although darwin is very active and small therefore reminds me of a doe! I just love squishy bucks though

And my bf is getting 3 bucks soon! (huge thanks to toyah) and they are adorable

5 does & 4 bucks.

Although I love them all very much, I do have quite a soft spot for the boys.

I have had female rats several years ago,but the last 10 years have only had Boys.I just like the way they laze around like lounge lizards, and the way they cuddle up with me,when out of their cage. They are just so laid back.

at the moment, i've got 7 boys, and 5 girls...but if you don't count the two rescue boys who aren't meant to be staying, that makes 5 of each!

Hmmm, PR - 'aren't meant to be staying...' - having GMR thoughts??

Sorry - couldn't resist! :D

Well, the results so far are a lot more 'equal' than I expected - very interesting...... :D

I started off with 2 girls and got hypnotised by a big dumbo boy after I'd had them spayed. Because he wasn't done, that meant new boys were easiest and I got 2, but girls are next (after one or 2 more boys :P) as soon as I can get some and they'll be neutered and then live with the boys.

I'd struggle to say what's 'best' - Mitts was a real girly-girl and used to snuggle with me when I was sad, have girly evenings grooming my hand through my hair and playing with my hair, when she wasn't playing different games with her man. But Manny is my special little man - he's a real sensitive "new man", so different to Zemmi the clown, but able to have fun and silliness too. I love them all! They're so different and individual that I couldn't say "Boys!" or "Girls!"
