Holly House vets in Moortown, Leeds; I've seen three different vets, and they all did research before I saw them and were also great at listening to me and not being patronising when they explained things. Sarah Brown is particularly good for ratties.

hi a new vet has opened in bamber bridge inbetween chorley and preston ive been to him a couple of times and was very good with the rats

after enquireing about the worse happing and i have to have a rat put to sleep he said their put in a chamber to gas first then inject so that was a weight off my mind as if the time comes your upset enough without the added pressure of the vet telling you they just inject and they don't feel it
he listened too and explained things to me which i found very helpful ska girlxx

I would also like to recommend Chris Mason. He was my vet when he worked at the Vets4Pets in Preston. Having been to him with a number of different problems i can say that i was never disappointed in the treatment that my rats received while in his care. I registered with another vet when he left Vets4Pets but have now registered with Chris again, as he is definately worth me travelling a bit extra for! A vet who truely cares about animals, not about making money.

Ok, technically they are in Cheshire/Greater Manchester but wanted to recommend Companion Care in Stockport, P@H. They have been really great, especially Korbus and Irene. Me and my ratties say thank you

Alan Humphreys
Village Vets
65 Quarry Street
Woolton
Liverpool
L25 6EZ
0151 428 8600
Alan is an exotics specialist. He has many rats on his book, and is always open to owner oppinions (he really appreciates an owner who does their research, as opposed to some vets, who take it as a personal challenge!). On rare occasions that he doesn't know what something is, he will take all the info he can (inc. pics) and consult other vets online and get back to you.
If you're in Liverpool, I wouldn't see anyone else
