Thought I'd finally get round to it and put my cage on here- I've taken two sets of pics over the last few months and as they are all different here they all are
There's 7-9 rats in them can you find them all? I can in the second one but not in the first

My new Furet Tower for my 8 girls. It's so big I'm finding it difficult to use all the space!

I upgraded my 3 to the XL last night as they were feeling cramped and unable to ping in their tom62 thing. Also I forgot how much space ratwheels use up!


There's a green hammock under the critter shelf in the middle that you can't see too

2 wheels as they use the WW but not the SS. Trying to wean them onto the latter as i only have the medium WW.

My furet tower!
I was worried that I wouldn't have enough to fill it and it would look empty - instead I've filled it with so much it looks small in these pictures! I'll get the balance right with some more practice And the ratties are very happy so that's the main thing
As the cage is so big and my room is so small, photo taking was kind of tricky, but I'm sure you all know what the bases look like anyhow...

In the bottom half I have found a use for a disused rat ball......................... attach some straps from some old chewed hammocks, and clip it to the bars, fill with bedding and voila!!!! My lot loved it as soon as it went in!!!!!!

I've split my tower into 2 cages for now, didn't have an extra roof section, so had to use the front panel from my Flight 400 - I love having easy to open top doors!
It's several days after clean out so please excuse any mess

It arriiiiived! I thought the Explorer was enormous, but this, this is just

Wrinkly pair on the top and six girlies in the bottom, hole problem solved with one of these: circular wall vent from B&Q - Perfect fit over the top of the hole. All superglued down now... XD It'll be funny when the boys dig it up and realise they can smell girly down there somewhere...





Stupid Parcelforce wrecked the box, so I had a couple of bent panels, some bent wires and some of the hooks on the roof piece, but nothing a pair of pliers couldn't sort. And I managed to put it together myself, yay.

I am astounded at the space inside of it - I need to go on a ratty shopping spree and crack on with making some hammocks that fit! - Need to get some of those sticky backed plastic hooks to go on the "roof" of the bottom half to hang stuff with. Hopefully Tubby's bum won't pull them off!

Slightly jealous that I don't have green bars as I think they are much better...

I got the XL a week ago, and i was stunned at the space, and my 6 girls love it XD
Here's pictures of the current setup, its a little bare atm, but i'm currently waiting for a cargo net, 10 bargin 50p hammocks, and one of those bendable rope perches, i ordered a 4ft one!

I've split my furet tower into two halfs now. The top half is home to my five girlies:

They love the hay stuffed sputnic and have been busy burrowing into it.

The bottom half is now home to my four boys. I've put a mesh roof at the top of this half just incase the girls decide to chew through the plastic base above. It always means I can hang things.
