I got one of these and turned it....

....into this

Then this

It's a good cage if you have limited floor space and it has narrow (1cm) bar spacing, so great for bubs or girlies!

here was my girls cage just after cleanout yesterday - all toys etc hadn't quite gone in, they were still soaking in milton so you have to use your imagination a bit!

Our big converted aviary:

-Originally, it was going to be for all 6 boys. But the intro's haven't gone well, and Rupert's gang is still in their XL - which is where they'll be staying.
And now we're in the process of getting rid of the aviary, and we're going to replace it with another XL for Kai's gang (who are in the aviary at the moment).
Sarah -- currently ratless.

I think I might pinch the idea for a mesh roof and get the Boyfriend on to it! - I have a Brio Midi and the roof is the only thing that bugs me; because it won't sit flush and neat against the wall! XD Here's mine:

There's so much room! I have bought so many baskets and other bits and pieces for it now! XD It is such a lovely cage.

Brio Maxi - bit bare compared to some on here, but I prefer them easier to clean...

My new cage, have had it for three weeks now and it's just fantastic, brilliant access and the ratties love the space. It's 140x70x60 split into two sections which aren't linked so for the first week they just got to live in the top:

and then I managed to find a mate with a metal jigsaw who made a hole through the middle tray + grill so the two sections are now linked with a ferrettrail tube :D

A new roof for my Brio - courtesy of lovely boyfriend - now sits flush against the wall. Bolted down on the left and lift up on the right.

Latest Brio layout - the cat litter trays from Wilkinsons are great for creating levels that can have substrate put in them.

So excited! :luck:
