Oh, and that wheel looks teeeeny, you'd be best removing it or it could do damage to her back. A rat wheel should be 12 inches in diameter :)

The cage calculator says 3 rats but some people put one below the maximum to give the rtas more space.

Thats great thank you, the wheel yes she is never on it, will take it out, we want to make her some kind of run, but with all my sons wires on the floor we cant tuck them behnd carpet either, we dont know what else to do to make her happy anbd play with stuff, i am getting my son to make a sock with treats in it, tie a knot in it, but she had plastic and rubber balls in there, never played with them, now we need to find out what kind of bedding to get her and throw the saw dust in bin.
Also what do you clean your cage with? We used to clean it with bicarbonate of soda but i have ran out of the stuff now, so he uses hot water only?
Am i posting in the right place?

She'll probably be more likely to play etc if she had a friend 8) Mine do! I'd also put more ropes, and hammocks etc in there :D If you have a look here you can steal other people's amazing idea's 8)

Oh and i use cage disinfectant cant remember the name of it, and hot soapy water :D Just make sure you fully rinse it off after!

Does she get out to run around somewhere? I let my ratties out on my kind size bed which I cover with old shower curtains. Beds/sofas are a good place for them to play, as are halls/bathrooms as they tend to not have stuff for them to hide in/under/behind, and are easily blocked off :)

I think you'll see a big difference once she's got some friends

And as much as I love looking at cages, I love looking at ratties more *hint hint*

White vinegar is great for cleaning cages.

:)
Proudly owned by Bryan (Habana), Victor (Matfield), Percy (Montgomery), John (Smit), Ricky (January) and Ruan (Pienaar) - our gorgeous rugby boys.
Foster mummy to Toby.
Loved and sorely missed: Os (du Randt) and Friemel
