John Hopewell Galvanised Clean out trays

Post by Sallacia » Sun May 08, 2011 9:58 am

Hello Everyone,
Just thought I'd let you all know about some good quality, cheap metal trays for Explorer cages and the like. They are really good and 4 inches deep, this keeps the cage a lot cleaner. The ratties can't chew through it either. I am definitely ordering one for my girlies!

Anyway, here is the website:- http://www.johnhopewell.co.uk/default.a ... egoryId=26
Emily x :D

AA note: Edited to make link work :)

I think it's the 36"x18" one, I can't remember, sorry. If you email him and ask for the one to fit the explorer, I'm sure he'll tell you. :D

He asks that you send in your own custom measurements for the explorer, as there is slight variation between each one, and all the trays on that page are designed to fit HIS cages, not the liberta ones :)
I got my trays made as 89.5 x 59.5 x 7cm and they fit in lovely :) - mine were £40 each

The hopewell tray that is approx the size of the explorer is about 1cm too big each way if I remember correctly - there was a thread about them recently. I was quoted £50 delivered for a made to measure one.

Can't you get someone local to make trays if you need different sizes?
We just got a tower tray replacement made and they are really good quality, properly enamelled (or pained of some type) arc welded corners, no metal folds or sharp edges and about the same price as those bases.
Hot and righteous :D
