I'm very impressed with the thoroughness of the job. And although I would poo poo 26 hours of manual graft, it's been pretty swift going.

I think you need to do a video montage for Youtube when you are done :P Maybe to the theme from Rocky :D

Just started following this mini adventure.

I'm very impressed with your project especially based on what you were starting with! I hate just repainting our Jenny's cage bars! Well done on persevering with this to get what is, frankly, an amazing cage. Just think of how great it will be at the end, if you need motivation. :D

All the best with finishing it off :luck:

You have my respect and I can completely empathise. I'm on day 2 of an explorer restoration  I have one bruised nail and no skin on my knuckles lol

Ees rainy :( I can only de-rust inside; all painting needs to be done outside as the floor of the conservatory is slate rather than something that wouldn't massively matter if it got a few paint blobs on.

pinksaffy - I don't much like doing bars either heh. They're so fiddly. It makes me think of horsey people and the distinct preferences people have as to whether they wouyld rather clean a saddle or a bridle

Yay, frozen frubes! *eats while taunting the rats*

Not as big a job as your duetto, no real major rust just quite a lot of it. Got carried away with the wire brush and knuckles get in the way. I actually only have a tiny bit of brush left :D
