Room Divider

Post by louisealex » Tue Aug 02, 2011 7:41 pm

Hi ,I'm thinking of getting some sort of barrier to divide my (smallish)lounge in half so that I can freerange my 2 groups.
at the same time.
My husband is a carpenter so would be able ,(with nagging!) to make a wood barrier with panels and hinges so that it could be stored
I've seen people on here talk about Correx, can the panels be joined together and hinged or is that plain silly?
Any thoughts gratefully received! Louise. x

Hi
Correx is light but sturdy and can be stuck with wide tape. It still folds down too.

Yeah, I'd say correx too as it's fairly cheap, easy to cut, folds down flat, and lightweight.

It'll also give your OH no reason to complain about having to make a wooden room divider (which ratties could possibly nibble on)....and you could set him to other tasks

I'm trying to remember where I bought mine from...I'll try and find the link for you :D

Here it is.....

I used this before we had our rat room and it's really good. You can just use duct tape or similar to make hinges and it'll fold away behind a sofa.

Hope this helps :luck:
