If it was a full bottle I think that is about right, I paid just over £40 for 100mls.

That sounds like good value to me. I pay around £10 for 10mls at my vets.

I pay £18 for a 50ml bottle but that's with a 20% discount.

I dont know if its worth mentioning but as I have 10 rats I asked my vet for a prescription for 100ml of baytril and then ordered it online for £22. Obviously I dont self medicate but its so much cheaper than buying some EVERY time one of mine is poorly.

My vet had said that we have a legal right to a prescription for medication.
Whether this is true or not I dont know

Very interesting!

In that case it would be worth all rat owners who have a large number of rats doing it this way?
It has certainly worked out cheaper for me os far :)

Thats interesting, do you have to get a new presciption every time you order on line, and do you have to pay the vet for each presciption? I have some rats on long term meds so I'm at the vets every 3-4 weeks :-|

You do need a new prescription every time yes, unless they put on the prescription its a repeat in which case the company mark that on your file and you dont need another one. If you have rats on longterm meds they may do a repeat prescription for you?
I didnt have to pay my vets for the prescription but I know some vets do charge for it but not much,
but its definitly worth it as the cost is just too much buying baytril in dribs and drabs.

You order it online and then they ask for you to send your prescription through, quickest way is email/fax and then you have to post the original. After that it took 3-4 days max, was quite fast :)
