pimples on my Bald Rat

My Bald rat Dobby is just over a year old now and he has developed three raised pimples. At first I thought he was getting tumours, as Ive had rats for a number of years and I have lost rats already due to this. However they are definately not tumours and one has now scabbed over. The rats that I have kept before never had anything like this so could some one tell me what they are and how to deal with them.

Could you post a photo? They sound like they might be cysts, which should eventually (could take months) come to a head on their own and disappear. Are they kind of lentil sized?

Hi, they do start off small but grow quite quickly and one of them has scabbed over now. Ive looked on the net and I think he has either got an abcess or cyst. I think I will take him to the vet and see what they say. Any advice is appreciated thanks.
