Mites !!!! Treat all???

Tag has mites. Saw couple of red crawly things. ( think they came from a very poorly Teeko who we lost this week)

Can't see any in the others.

Should I treat all in case or just Tag?

Any other advice?

Ps. Hachi is just about 300g. Hard to see wobbling on the scales. At worst 280-290. If I'm advised to treat all would Hachi be ok with the beaphar for rats 300g and over?

I do have some hamster beaphar but only enough for 100g

If they are visible, they'll be lice rather than mites, but the treatment is the same and all will ideally need to be treated. I'm not sure about the Spot-on stuff as have only ever had mine treated at the vets.

Spot on (beapher, don't use bob margins its useless) will be fine, I agree with doing them all and would use the rat one for your boy as he's not tiny, just borderline

I will go and (beaphar) spot on the other 2 now. I tried weighing Hachi again. I'm sure he's 280g

Should I remove the hammocks tonight or tomorrow when the mites will have fallen off (lol) ???

Give them a good hot wash in a few days, spot on treats for a few weeks so the lice should all die before it wears out, it does give you comfort though. Also nit combs are great for helping clear there coat afterwards, and are just good rat combs generally.
