Is this ok?

Post by not_ginger » Wed Nov 04, 2009 12:10 pm

I bought this while shopping last night thinking I could add it to my Shunamite mix.

Sainsbury's Dried Soup Mix, Country Soup

Dried Peas (52%) (Yellow Split Peas, Green Split Peas, Marrowfat Peas)
Dried Barley (34%) (Pearl Barley, Barley Flakes)
Red Split Lentils (8%)
Aduki Beans (6%)

Is this ok to feed them? Also what kind of percentage of my mix should it be?

Adzuki beans can't be fed dry I don't think. The lentils and things can be fed dry though. If there aren't too many adzuki beans in the mix I would just pick them out, or sprout the mix if you can and feed them as sprouts :D

azuki beans are dark red with white sprouty bits - pretty obvious to tell apart from everything else in there to remove.
