is reggy rat a good quality food ?
does it have any bad points ?

It's not the best but I do think it's got better than it once was.

It's only got a limited variety of ingredients (wheat, maize, peas, oats and soya are the main ingredients). Like most commercial mixes it contains alfalfa which rats usually won't eat and don't need but is a cheap filler feed and colours are added to appeal to people but have no benefit to the rats.

On the positive side it no longer contains poor quality meat products and it has added vitamins etc. If you're going to feed it I would recommend mixing it with at least one other commercial rat mix to increase variety or using it as a base to a shunamite style mix. You can then also tweak the diet for your rats through their lives.
