Correct dosage for senior aid?

Post by Bea_broccoli » Wed May 25, 2011 5:30 pm

Jazzy is currently on 2.5ml of senior aid a day as it says on the side of the bottle 0 - 5 kg, 2.5ml per day. Although it seems like a lot compared to other forum members daily dosage.

Is it correct? Jazzy is 0.34kg (340g) :)

We dose it as 0.5ml per kg (the dose on the bottle is assuming a dog or cat)

So Jazzy onlyneeds about 0.2ml per day to get all the vits and minerals :smileyrat:

That is a lot for him to get through!

Boojum has his meds in senior aid - 1/4tsp senior aid, a pinch doxy and a pinch ipakitine. So he has about half a tsp a day.

Missing Hugo, Krindle, Dandelion, Baron, Winder, Snark, Snapcase, Snufkin, Twirl, Somer, Musket, Hodgkins, Urs.

I doubt it, maybe just keep other supplements to a minimum for a couple of days!

I give the very technical measurement of "a squirt" when I'm giving the oldies their mush  But Piglet gets about 1/2tsp as her oldie supplements :)

Thank you :D I've not given him any tonight after he had the full 1ml lol and probably not tomorrow either... Friday he can start up again with .2ml, much more appropriate!
