I don't think I would try much my boys eat! They like the smelly food in the oddest combinations! Like the immune boosting mix. I would have most of that individually.....the rats wont....but, put it all together and they scarf it down!

I suspect there are many more creepy crawly things in Australia than the UK - so probably a higher chance of one accidently ending up in your food....

I can't say I've tasted rat food (other than stuff which is also "human" food), but I have tasted baytril :sickrat: and metacam :-| Senior aid HAS to be worse than mealworms, even the smell makes me gag :sickrat:

Senior aid tastes a bit like it smells, really (I don't like the smell). And the taste stays in your mouth for a while. Er, not that I'd know or anything..

Tell you what is nice though - the nourish-um malt paste-y stuff. Bloody lovely. Tastes like a milder marmite.

I tried it.. in the interest of science, obviously. Tastes like nothing on earth, truly vile. Way worse than it smells - it actually made me wretch.. and I'm not fussy about food, I'll eat anything!
