I know aloe vera is edible.. I just wondered if anyone knows if it's safe to feed to rats?

There isn't really much nutritional benefit - there's cheaper things to use if you want fresh food high in water. But it's certainly safe (straight from the plant, or from 100% gel) to use topically with no risk of harm if consumed.
