A friend of mine suggested I call one of my rats "Trumpet". I didn't, but it is a very funny name! Maybe in the future...
The ratties: Aleister, Devy, Lump, Loki and Jester.
RIP Rocky 6/1/09 - my little fighter - sadly missed

My first rat was a huge agouti fella, who had been put out to the rubbish, and was spotted by a customer of ours (we're a petshop). She'd called the SSPCA, who picked him up, but took him straight to us, sure of finding a soft touch amongst us! lol As I hadn't 'planned' him, he remained nameless for a few days. I was entranced by him though, and every conversation seemed to start 'My rat...' After a couple of days a collegue said 'Well, there's his name then!' And she was right. His official name then became "Mirat"! Suited him down to the ground! I then had a couple of females, but when my next male came along he was, you've guessed it "Miratwo"!
