Savic Sputnik

(Sorry don't have a picture of the XL at the mo but will take some to post at weekend!

Sizes: The Savic Sputnik is available in two sizes; Regular (21,5 x 21,5 x 12,5cm) or XL (29,0 x 26,0 x 19,0cm). The regular Sputnik fits approximately 1 rat (It has been know to squish another one in!) Whilst the XL has been known to fit 4 or even 5 fully grown chunky men!!!

Location: The Sputnik either be free-standing or hung from the top of a cage.

Colours: The available colours are limited at the moment for both the regular and XL, typically, yellow, blue and green, usually a mixture of two! However currently the famous PINK XL Sputnik has been made available through specialist websites: i.e. Rat Warehouse & Acrorats.

Painting: I have attempted at Plastickoting my regular sized Sputnik and other than i few nail sized scratches the coating has stuck! Painted in Nov 08 it is still going strong!

Cost: The regular sized Sputnik is approximately between £1.75 and £3.50 - Whilst the XL is approximately £4.00.

I love mine and would be lost without them! so would my girlies!!! They are used as beds, food storage, and put next to another they are a great Sputnik course for the ratties to climb through! Unfortunately they can be used by lazy ratties as a toilet, however by just putting a little hold in the base/lid, which ever way up you have it, soon stops the 'filling up and bathing'

It can also be used without the 'lid' as Remi demonstrates :D

Fantastic invention - I have a large and a small Sputnik, and I'd be lost without them. The small one fits a heap of young ratlets in, or one petite adult. My little boy Mincemeat goes mad for the small Sputnik - it's secure and makes him feel safe, as only he's small enough to get in.

The large Sputnik is great: put it on the floor for a special bed for less-mobile oldies, or hang from the ceiling as an easily wipe clean 'hammock alternative'.

Very durable and long-lasting. :smileyrat: :smileyrat: :smileyrat: :smileyrat: :smileyrat:

My sputnik xl has replaced all other hidey zones as the prefered home for Hall & Oates...

My best purchase - other than the initial one from the breeder that is...

Similarly, I can't get my four girls out of their sputnik. I had no idea it would be so popular!!

My girls totally love their pink sputnik! Hubby attached it to the side of the cage once, that made it more interesting for them :)

I'd give it :smileyrat: :smileyrat: :smileyrat: :smileyrat: :smileyrat: /5!
