It has 2 side panels on each level, which I think are identical. The front has doors, the back doesn't (ETA - this isn't meant to sound patronising). The upper front and back panels have small feet that fit into the holes in the top of the lower front/rear panels.

There is a ladder from the top level to the bottom shelf. This goes into 2 holes (a ladder width apart) in the top rail of the lower back panel, so make sure that the panel has the holes on the inside of the cage and that the middle floor has the hole at the back right.

The shelves slide between the slots in the side panels and then fit into holes on the front and back.

Which bit of the back view is confusing you ?

one clue to putting it together is the holes for the middle ladder. they are drilled into the top corner of the bottom back panel..................i only realised this after i had finished putting mine together and was doing layouts and had no where to fix the darn ladder lol as i'd put the back on upside down

dont worry, i couldnt be bothered to take the whole thing apart again to turn the panel around...so i just cable tied the lader in place and it worked perfectly well :D

even if you put it on right it doesn't stay without cable ties  Although I'm so mean that my girls don't get ladders, or a middle, and only one shelf. But they seem to enjoy all the climbing up and down and look very healthy :D
