I've eaten wet cat food before, when I was younger... I kinda liked it! I used to watch my cat Could try some of the girls' open pack now if a proper taste test is needed  I don't know which fish it is, the top bit has been cut off. Mystery food woo!

I'm with Helzie on this one. It all sounds horrible and there is no way that I would try any of it, even for the advancement of science. Ewwwwww :sickrat:

I'm pretty sure we're not good arbeiters of what tastes good to a rat. I decided this...

*Helzie (and all squeamish people), I guarantee you want to skip the rest of this post*

... on the day the vet pulled a scab off Glurk's neutering abcess, complete with large pea-sized lump of pus...

*yes, this is going where you think it's going. I said you wanted to skip it...*

... dropped it on the examining table, put Glurk down whilst he got some tweezers to poke the wound...

*you'll find the sick rat smiley is on far right hand of the third row btw*

... and turned round to find Glurk nomming up his pus laiden treat with great enthusiasm

Even the vet turned a bit green  .

Anyway, this decided me that whilst we may all be omnivores, and have weaknesses for sugar and fat, what a rat considers good eating is not something I can ever understand...

Which means I'm excused trying anything horrible :P

I was given fair warning. I appreciate that and absolve Alison of all responsibility for the fact that despite being given due notice, I ignored the warning and recklessly read this when eating my breakfast.

I may never eat again.

I just snorted really loud at my desk - how do I explain that this was funny?!

On the same topic - the top of Daisy's necrotic abcess fell off and we never found it... :-? there were only 2 rats in the Jenny at the time, so I blame Dotty :sickrat:

Heres my list.

Dried Dandilion Leaves - Like nomming on straw
James wellbeloved senior kibble - Musty tasting, gritty in the mouth, not too bad.
Cat food - Salmon terrain - Bleck! nothing like salmon I call false advertising! :sickrat:
Baytril - Ack bitter ack ack ack
Senior aid - smells awful, tastes worse.
Synulox liquid- kinda sickly sweet like sugared milk
Nutrical - Thick, sticky and foul tasting and it lingers.
Bananna custard baby food - Nom
Farleys Rusks - Nom
Dr Squiggles - just weird tasting water, didnt see the appeal
Bisolvin - Bleck
Yoggies - drab and chalky tasted of nothing much
