I have just noticed some droppings that looked red, I wasn't too sure so I was going to have to investigate when I noticed Gus's bum had a red streak mark, is there anyone who knows what blood coming out in droppings means?
I've rang various vets and no-one is answering.
Is there anything else I can do before I ring again in the morning?
Please help I'm really worried, blood in droppings!

How much blood is there? Is it bright or dark? One of my past boys had blood in his feces one night which started with just a few specs then became really heavy and lost a fair bit of blood over just a few hours, we looked after him through the night to keep him going and he was fine the next day. We think he must have eaten some wire or something that cut him internally.

I have just bought them a new wooden house, maybe he ate a sharp piece of wood?
It looked dark, it was only on the droppings and a streak on his bum probably from when he went. So not a lot of blood really.
I got through to a vet and they asked me to bring him in the morning, along with a sample of the droppings.

Have you given them anything red to eat over the past wee while?
